Osseo Youth Football (OYF) is a community-based volunteer organization that provides tackle football to young athletes in grades 2-8. Although managed and aligned with the Osseo Senior High Football Program and its Booster Club, OYF is funded solely by OYF registration fees and its fundraising efforts.
OYF participates in, and follows the rules of the Twin Cities North Football League. (TCNFL) Osseo Football Players must live or go to school within the District 279 Boundaries.
The OYF program is designed to develop superior students, citizens and athletes. OYF strives to allow every child who wishes to participate, regardless of size, financial means, race, creed or national origin, to do so in a safe and fair environment where their best interests are put first.
OYF Mission Statement
OYF’s mission is to provide an opportunity for as many children as possible to benefit from participation in a safe, fun, professional and well-structured football program that emphasizes fundamental football skills development and balances competitiveness with sportsmanship.
OYF will stress the importance of family, education and teamwork. OYF promotes good sportsmanship, respect, discipline, and integrity, and is committed to developing each athlete’s character, confidence, leadership, and accountability.
