The Osseo Orioles girls basketball team completed their summer workouts with a service project. Players made fleece blankets and donated the to the Osseo Police Department as well as P.U.P.S, a facility where lost pets are taken and cared for until they are reunited with their owners.

"It meant a lot to me knowing that something so small for us to do has a really big impact on others lives," senior Ciera Mack said.

In all, 10 blankets were donated to the Police Department and another 12 to P.U.P.S.

"Making the blankets for the Police Department and P.U.P.S Organization was a great way to grow closer to my teammates and my community," junior Isabel Cronin said. "It felt great to give back and do something beneficial for everyone."
