The Osseo baseball team stayed alive in the Section 5AAAA tournament in a thriller.

The Orioles beat Spring Lake Park 5-4, scoring the winning run in the bottom of the seventh.

The teams traded leads, with Osseo going up 4-3 in Noah Thompson’s sacrifice fly in the sixth.

After Spring Lake Park tied it 4-4 in the top of the seventh, the Orioles saved their best for last.

Seamus Reese drove in A.J. Valeri with the winning run to extend Osseo’s season.

The Orioles face Centennial at CHS Field Friday afternoon in another elimination game.
